DSV UK Group offers a valuable pension to employees through the DSV UK Group Pension Scheme. In this section you can find out about the people behind the DSV UK Group Pension Scheme and how they help you make the most of your pension.

DSV Pension Trustees Limited is made up of 7 directors. Four Directors of DSV Pension Trustees Limited are appointed by DSV Road Holding Limited.  With the approval of the Trustee, the Principal Employer has appointed PAN Trustees Limited as an Independent Trustee Director being one of the four Directors appointed by the Company. The other three are G Ridsdale, R F Olesen and F Hall. Following a review which was completed in early 2008, new arrangements were agreed which allow the inclusion of three member representatives.  Member representatives are elected by members of the Scheme and their position is reviewed after an agreed period of office. The agreed period of office is staggered for the next three elections to ensure Trustee knowledge continuity is not lost. The three member nominated Trustees are currently A Burnet, G Kioussis and Y Tabberer.

The Trustee meets three times during a year to discuss matters relating to the Scheme as a whole. The Investment Sub Committee meet once a year to discuss matters relating to the investment strategy of the Scheme assets.

As part of the Trustee’s ongoing commitment to the good governance of the Scheme and following the Pensions Regulator’s emphasis on this area, the Trustee focus on aspects of good governance.  In doing so, they have developed and maintained a coherent strategy for managing key risks.  This includes using a risk register and internal controls, managing conflicts of interest, developing their knowledge and understanding of pensions and the Scheme, ensuring the Scheme’s record keeping is up to date and reviewing retirement and investment options for members.

Hymans Robertson LLP provide actuarial and investment advice to the Trustee. They also provide third party administration services. The Trustee receives its legal advice from Eversheds LLP and Squire Patton Boggs LLP and is audited by Grant Thornton UK LLP.
